Science Heroes are joining Lakewood Memorial Library on Tuesday, July 22nd at 11am as part of our Color Our World summer reading program.
Science Heroes is on a mission to turn science into an adventure! Through hands-on experiments and fun, interactive stories, we're getting kids excited about the science that’s all around us as we celebrate the scientists who color our world with art!
Due to the anticipated size of the audience, this program will be meeting next door, above the police station, in the Village Building. You will need to be able to climb a flight of stairs for this venue. This event is designed for children 12 years and under and is free of charge. No registration is required—just come and enjoy!
Don't forget to log your reading minutes between June 28 and August 16 at http://lakewoodlibraryny14.readsquared.com.
Please note: During Maker Mondays, extended for the month of July from 2:00–4:00 PM, children are encouraged to wear clothes that can get messy—we’ll be diving into lots of creative, hands-on fun!
We hope to see you at the library for this exciting event!
