Artist’s Statement:

Both my parents were public school art teachers. I taught junior and senior high art in Smethport, PA for over 30 years. Art in many forms has been my life for all of my 74 years. Like my father, I like woodworking, and from my mother, I found a love in watercolor. On my own, I’ve developed an interest in working with paper in many forms (sculptures, mobiles, etc.) Woven through all of this is my fascination for fly fishing. Being retired and filling my time with art and the things I love is wonderful. I’ve also managed to fit in time for family, sports cars, and stray dogs.
