Attend the artist's reception, August 14th from 5-6:30 pm at the Lakewood Memorial Library
Terry went to college for the first time at age 48 and earned a Fine Arts degree and Bachelor's degree in Art and Wellness. She works as an art instructor at Aspire of Western New York where she teaches art to people with physical and developmental disabilities. She says it’s the best job she’s had in her entire life!
She is a member of the North Shore Arts Alliance and was one of the featured artists at the 2024 Roger Tory Peterson Institute Plein Air Exhibition. She was also one of the juror artists in their Broken Nature exhibition. She has been featured in several small shows throughout the area, sometimes as a group exhibit with NSAA and sometimes solo. She creates in many mediums but her preference is pastel and charcoal.
She lives in a cabin in the woods thus the name of her business Cabin Clutter Creations. Living in nature and being surrounded by such serenity and beauty is what she tries to portray in her art.
