Join paper artist, Wendy Bale, making colorful luminaries on the afternoon of the Winter Solstice. Using a unique mineral paper called “Rock Paper”, we will craft beautiful paper lanterns to help bring some light into this, the longest night of the year. All materials are supplied, including translucent sheets of Rock Paper specifically selected for this project. A color-change tea light will add a festive flair to your creation. No two will be alike, you are welcome to design your own motif, or templates and instruction will be provided to make this project suitable for all adult skill levels.
